Ashraf (Andrew) Amaya played collegiately for Southern Illinois University.  He played for the Vancouver Grizzlies (1995-96) and Washington Bullets (1996-97) in the NBA and for the U.S. National Team in the 1998 FIBA World Championship, winning the bronze medal in Greece.  He also played professionally in Greece in 2004 and in the NBDL, CBA, and Turkey.
