Rodney Johnson has been involved in a number of sports throughout his career.  During high school at Naperville Central Rodney excelled in Football, Basketball and Track.  He was an All Conference and All Area athlete in Football as well a state qualifier in Track.

Rodney Continued his Athletic career at Northern Illinois where he played Football for two years before an injury ended is career prematurely.

Since then Rodney has had a passion to share what he’s learned throughout his sports career in working with the Youth. 

During College Rodney worked at NIU as an Upward Bound Counselor, a program that helped to develop and prepare high school students for College.  During this time he also worked as an assistant basketball coach for the students that participated in this summer program.

After College Rodney still continues working in the youth arena as a board member of the Life Support Organization.  Within this organization Rodney works with Student athletes to better prepare them for academic challenges through tutoring and mentoring as well as athletic challenges with skill development and training and conditioning.
